1) Install QuickBooks Pro 2002 from your trial CD
2) What you're going to do next is replace the CD key that came with th
e CD,
to one that will work with your reg number.
3) You will need to manually edit the registry, via "regedit.exe" f
ound in
the Windows directory.
4) First, close QuickBooks, then start the registry editor and look for
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software, Intuit, QuickBooksRegistration, 10.&#
48;".
5) Once you're in there, your going to edit the screen to the right
6)Right click on install number and modify the number to 0010

7)Right click on Reg Number and modify the number to 02001-40

8) Leave the rest alone, exit the registry and the program should now start
okay.
9) Once you start the program, open the sample company. Drop down the file m
enu
and click on REGISTER then select "Register by phone" and enter: 02&
